This GlenAllachie was distilled in 2006 and matured for 15 years in a virgin oak barrel, cask 6577. It forms part of Batch 3 and is bottled at a cask strength of 61.7% ABV. Because the barrel was entirely unused, the whisky shows a clear imprint of wood, balanced by malt sweetness and the strength of the spirit. Just 208 bottles were filled from this cask.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
