This is an 11 year old single cask Glenallachie, distilled in 2011 and matured in a Ruby Port pipe. It comes from Batch 5 and is bottled at 58.6%, with 746 bottles filled.
The nose has sweet cherries, orange peel and heather honey, with a little dark chocolate, strawberry coulis and cinnamon. The palate brings honey, dark berries and cherry liqueur, followed by roasted chestnuts. The finish ends on dark chocolate and citrus.
