Sinteis Pt. 1 is the first release in a series from GlenAllachie, launched in spring 2025. Sinteis is Gaelic for synthesis, and the name refers to the union of two distinct cask types.
The whisky was distilled in 2014 and matured for roughly ten to eleven years in Chinquapin virgin oak, an American oak from Missouri, together with first-fill Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheons.
It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.8% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour.
