Glenburgie – 13 Year Old 2011 Infrequent Flyers

This is a 13 year old Speyside single malt from Glenburgie, distilled in 2011 and bottled in March 2025 by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers series. It comes from a single hogshead, with 302 bottles filled. The whisky spent its whole maturation in a hogshead that had previously held Languedoc red wine. It was bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. It is typically described as showing orchard fruit alongside crimson-berry compote, vanilla cream and soft oak spice.
