This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Glencadam Distillery in Brechin, bottled at 46%. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks of American oak and is bottled without chill-filtration and without added colouring.
The distillery was established in 1825.
The nose combines malt and vanilla with fresh-cut grass, sweet pear and meringue. On the palate it is soft and full-bodied, with orange marmalade, sweet citrus and lemon sorbet, and the finish is long, with gently toasted oak and a light, spicy bourbon sweetness.
