Glencadam – 10 Years (70cl, 46%)

A 10 year old Highland single malt from Glencadam, the distillery in Brechin founded in 1825 and modernised in 1959. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Glencadam makes its malt from unpeated barley and is known for a notably creamy character. For years much of the output went into a blend called Cream of the Barley. The distillery uses very soft water, piped over 30km from Loch Lee, and is the last survivor of its stretch of coast. Angus Dundee took it over in 2003.
