Glencadam Réserve de Sauternes is a 13 year old Highland single malt, distilled in 2008. It was first matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then moved to Sauternes wine barrels from France for a finishing period.
The sweet wine casks add depth, richness and a bright, fruit-forward character to the distillery's elegant spirit. Sauternes finishing is associated with lively citrus and zesty fruit notes. The whisky was released as 3,042 individually numbered bottles.
