Glencadam 13 Year Old Sauternes Wine Cask Finish is a golden single malt from the Highlands of Scotland. It matured for 13 years in ex-bourbon casks of American oak, then received a further finish in Sauternes wine casks. 3042 bottles were produced.
The nose is spicy, with soft marmalade, poached pears with acacia honey, peach blossom and yellow fruits.
On the palate, baked peaches and dried mango sit over thick honey, alongside chocolate-covered oranges, lemon cake and a strong citrus note of tangerine. The finish brings apple compote and agave nectar, with sugared fruit peel and spices.
