Glencadam 15 Year Old is an Eastern Highlands single malt Scotch whisky from the Brechin distillery, which has been making whisky there since 1825. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured wholly in American oak ex-bourbon casks, and is bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration. It won 98 points at the IWSC.
The nose is pronounced, with orchard fruit, vanilla pod, citrus peel and toasted nuts. The palate is sweet and creamy, with sugared almond, panna cotta, dried apple, nutmeg and cocoa powder. The finish is balanced, with creamy rice pudding and gentle cinnamon.
