This is a 15-year-old Glencadam single malt from the Highlands, bottled by the distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Glencadam was founded in 1825 in Brechin, and most of its production goes into the Ballantine's blends. Its single malt is made from unpeated barley malt and distilled in two copper pot stills. The lyne arms of these stills angle upwards at 15 degrees rather than downwards, which is said to give a particularly delicate, soft spirit.
