Glencadam 17 Years Port Finish is a Highland single malt that matured in cask from 2004 to 2021. It spent its first years in ex-bourbon casks before a finish in port casks, and it is bottled at 46% ABV. The outturn is 7,770 bottles.
The nose is fruity, with strawberries, melted butter, a spicy touch of ginger and a rounding note of cinnamon. The palate opens with pears and raspberries, followed by toffee, vanilla and oats. The finish brings redcurrants and blueberries, with a fine note of coffee.
