Glencadam 18 Year Old is an Eastern Highlands single malt from the distillery in Brechin, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
It spends the full eighteen years in American oak ex-bourbon casks and nothing else. The whisky is bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose has fresh stone fruit, pear blossom, dried pineapple and panna cotta. On the palate there are baked peach, rice pudding, lemon curd and crème caramel, with nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is long, with poached pear, ginger biscuit and apricot Danish.
