Glencadam 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery in Brechin, matured for 18 years in bourbon casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle with a tube, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose combines fresh stone fruit and pear blossom with dried pineapple, panna cotta and light baking spice. On the palate it is creamy, with baked peach, rice pudding, lemon curd and caramel cream, while nutmeg and cinnamon add spice.
The finish is long and warm, with poached pears, ginger biscuits and apricot pastry fading into a sweet spiciness.
