Glencadam – 18 Years (70cl, 46%)

Glencadam 18 Years Old is a single malt from the Glencadam distillery in Brechin, in the Highlands, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1825 and modernised in 1959. Its very soft water is piped more than 30km from Loch Lee, and it is the last surviving distillery on that stretch of coast. Angus Dundee took it over in 2003. Glencadam is made from unpeated malt and is known for a markedly creamy character. For years much of its output went into a blend called Cream of the Barley.
