This is a 38 year old Glencadam from the Highlands, matured in a single White Port barrel. It was distilled on 5 November 1982 and bottled from cask 2350 on 28 May 2021 at a cask strength of 45.7%, in 220 numbered 70cl bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is lively and layered, with honeyed pomelo, apple peel and lychee alongside sugar candy sweetness, elderflower and chamomile. The palate brings sweet black cherries and raspberry yoghurt, chocolate-covered Brazil nuts, mocha, spices and cacao nibs. The finish moves from sour cherry jam and apple strudel into warming, sweet spice.
