Glencadam – 20 Year Old (No.1) PX Sherry Butt (55%)

Glencadam 20 Year Old (No.1) is a single cask malt distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2020, after two decades in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 55% ABV, in an edition of 672 bottles. The long maturation in PX sherry wood gives the whisky a sweet, deep character. It is described as rich and layered, with dried fruits, molasses and warming spice.
