Glencadam – 25 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Glencadam 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Brechin in the Eastern Highlands, which has been making whisky there since 1825. It spent a minimum of twenty-five years in American oak ex-bourbon casks drawn from the distillery's dunnage warehouses. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and at natural colour, and each bottle is individually numbered. The nose is bright, with stone fruits, apple blossom and acacia honey. Pear, peach, toffee and toasted hazelnut lead the palate, and the finish is long, warming and toasty, with lemon curd and greengage.
