This is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Glencadam, a distillery established in 1825. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured exclusively in hand-selected American oak ex-bourbon barrels from Kentucky.
The nose offers sweet barley, vanilla custard and ripe orchard fruit with a hint of raisins. On the palate it is silky, with pineapple, pear and a touch of acacia honey. The finish is soft and long, recalling warm apple pie, a little cinnamon and gentle oak spice.
