Glencadam American Oak Reserve is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is matured in American bourbon barrels, which give it a vanilla note and a fine sweetness. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
Glencadam was founded in 1827 in the Scottish Highlands.
The nose offers fresh apples, honey and subtle vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. The palate is soft and round, with caramel, citrus fruit and a light woody note that balances the sweetness. The finish is pleasantly long and warm, with lingering spice and a touch of oak.
