Glencadam – American Oak Reserve Small Batch Single Malt (70cl)

Glencadam American Oak Reserve is a small batch Scotch single malt. The Master Distiller chose bourbon barrels made from American oak in Kentucky, had them shipped to Scotland and filled them with new make Glencadam spirit. They matured in the distillery's dunnage warehouses before the best barrels were selected for bottling. The nose combines vanilla pod, buttercream, orchard fruits, golden raisin and Turkish delight. The palate brings poached pear, apple blossom, Acacia honey, roast chestnut, mocha and lemon rind. The finish is sweet, like cooked fruits, white grapes and apple crumble, fading into lingering peppery cake spice.
