This Highland single malt was made to mark the heritage of Glencadam, a distillery founded in Brechin in 1825. It was matured entirely in American oak ex-bourbon barrels from Kentucky, and produced, matured and bottled in Scotland. The bourbon casks add cooked apple, honey and vanilla pod to the distillery's character, with soft oak and a gentle malt sweetness behind them.
