Glencadam – Origin 1825 (70cl, 40%)

Glencadam Origin 1825 is a small batch single malt Scotch whisky from Glencadam Distillery in Brechin, in the Eastern Highlands. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle and takes its name from the year the distillery was founded. It is a marriage of whiskies matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks. The nose is creamy and floral, with malted barley and vanilla, followed by mixed summer fruits. The palate is sweet and lively, with banana, pineapple, pear, boiled sweets and soft spice. The finish is floral and clean, with a lingering pear-drop sweetness.
