Glencadam Pedro Ximenez Cask Finish is a Highland single malt made in small batches and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then finished in hand-selected Pedro Ximenez sherry butts from Andalucia, Spain.
The distillery notes Christmas pudding, dried figs and dark chocolate on the nose, with cedar and clove. The palate brings maple syrup, treacle toffee, prunes, maraschino cherries, brandy butter and Black Forest gateau. The finish moves through cinder toffee, fruit cake and crystallised ginger to a lingering cherry jam and espresso note.
