Glencadam Reserva de Porto is a 17 year old single malt Scotch whisky, a 2004 limited edition bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled and first matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Port pipes sourced from Porto in Portugal.
The nose is rich and festive, with cooked fruits, sweet spices, strawberry tarts and gingerbread. Bramble, poached pear and black cherry lead the palate, and the long finish brings dark chocolate, berry coulis and a sweet cinnamon linger.
