Glencadam Reserva PX is a Highland single malt that matures first in ex-bourbon casks of American oak. The chosen whiskies are then married and finished in hand-picked Pedro Ximénez sherry butts from Andalusia. It is bottled at 46% with natural colour and without chill-filtration, and since 2026 it has come in revised premium packaging.
The profile runs from dried fruit and dark chocolate through sweet dessert notes to wood, spice and coffee.
The nose combines English Christmas pudding, dried figs and dark chocolate with cedar and clove. On the palate come maple syrup, treacle toffee, prunes with maraschino cherries, brandy butter and Black Forest gateau. The warming finish brings crisp caramel, fruit cake and crystallised ginger, then cherry jam and espresso.
