Glendalough – 7 Year Old Mizunara Cask Finish Batch 1 (70cl, 46%)

This is a 7 year old Irish whiskey from Glendalough, finished in Mizunara, the Japanese oak cask. It is the first batch of the expression, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The nose is floral, fruity and soft. On the palate there is fresh citrus, then a soft mouthfeel of fruit and malt with honey, caramel and dark chocolate. The finish is long and soft, with oriental spices and oak.
