An Irish whiskey from Glendalough, matured in first fill bourbon casks combined with a Pinot Noir cask, and sold as Burgundy Grand Cru. It is bottled at 42% in a 70cl bottle, with no added colour.
The nose is fruity and sweet, with wild berries, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate offers caramel, honey, earth, oak, rich berry fruit, pepper and spice. The finish is medium in length, with clove, star anise, cinnamon, dark chocolate and dried fruit.
