A single cask GlenDronach from the 2003 vintage, matured for 13 years in an Oloroso sherry puncheon. It is a Highlands single malt, bottled at 56.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle for the Taiwan market.
The cask gave 710 bottles, which were released in 2016.
The nose combines golden apples, raisins and rich fig syrup with a hint of roasted coffee beans. On the palate, a gentle sweet sherried character leads to caramelised apricots warmed by cracked black pepper.
