Glendronach 15 Year Old is a Highlands single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardice at Dronachburn in the Valley of Forgue, north-east of Huntly in Aberdeenshire. Its name means valley of the Dronach. For a long time maturation relied almost entirely on Oloroso sherry casks, which still shape its style. It belongs to the Benriach Distillery Company, alongside Glenglassaugh and Benriach.
