This is a 1992 vintage single malt from Glendronach, released as Cask Bottling Batch 18. It is an original distillery bottling at 48% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Glendronach lies in the Valley of Forgue, north-east of Huntly in Aberdeenshire, and was founded there in 1826 by James Allardice. The distillery long matured almost entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, which still shapes its style. It is owned by the Benriach Distillery Company, together with Glenglassaugh and Benriach.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
