This is GlenDronach 18 Year Old, a Highland single malt matured for eighteen years in sherry casks, in a 70cl bottle.
The sherry influence shows in the tasting notes. The nose brings dried fruits such as raisins and figs, with some candied orange peel. The palate is rich, with dark chocolate, a hint of coffee and sweet spices like cinnamon or nutmeg.
The finish is long.
