Allardice is an 18 year old Glendronach matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled on 10 January 2018 at 46% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
Glendronach stands at Forgue, near Huntly in Aberdeenshire.
The nose is intense, with plenty of sherry, sweetness, a hint of rum and raisin, vanilla and almond. The palate brings strong sweet sherry notes, mixed berries and cherries, plenty of caramel and a little vanilla, and it is rich and velvety. The finish is very long, spicy and sweet, with raisins and dark chocolate.
