This GlenDronach is a single cask Highland single malt from the 1995 vintage, matured for over nineteen years in an Oloroso sherry puncheon. It was bottled in 2014 at a natural cask strength of 54.1%, and 583 bottles were released.
The producer's notes describe a dark harvest gold colour. The nose brings sweet golden sultanas and roasted orchard fruits, with oak spices and hints of mint. On the palate, stewed sultanas and orchard fruits meet peppery oak and ginger, and the finish carries a hint of toffee and vanilla.
