Glendronach – 1992 23 Year Old Single Cask 76 Batch 13 (70cl, 52%)

This is a single cask Highland single malt from Glendronach, distilled in 1992 and bottled by the distillery in 2016 at 23 years old. It forms part of Batch 13 of the single cask series and comes in a 70cl bottle. It matured in oloroso sherry butt 76, which gave 683 bottles at a full natural cask strength of 52% ABV. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration. The style is drier, with notes of porcini mushrooms, wet earth, clay and minerals, alongside dark stewed fruits, citrus rind and coal hearths.
