A 26-year-old single cask Glendronach, distilled on 21 May 1993 and bottled in 2020 at 55.5%. It matured in a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon, and 674 bottles were filled, each in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sweet and fruity with sherry, strawberry, cherry and apricot, alongside vanilla, almonds, forest honey, orange, chocolate and spice. The alcohol is well integrated. On the palate the sherry is intense and sweet, with chocolate, coffee, vanilla and a little cinnamon, rich and powerful with spice from the oak.
The finish is very long, sweet and spicy, with dark chocolate, sherry and old oak.
