A single cask Glendronach, distilled on 12 February 1993 and bottled in September 2017 at 24 years old. It matured in a sherry butt, cask 401, which gave 659 bottles at 52.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sherried and sweet, with strawberry, cherry and apricot, then vanilla, almonds, forest honey, orange, chocolate and spice. The palate is rich and powerful, with intense sherry, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and a little cinnamon. The finish is very long, sweet and spicy, with dark chocolate, sherry and old oak.
