A single cask Glendronach, distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2013 at 18 years old. It is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 55.1%, bottled without colouring or chill filtration as a UK exclusive.
It came from cask 3547, a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon that yielded 607 bottles. Glendronach from before 1996 was made in a relatively old-style way and filled into good sherry casks.
The sherry character is described as unctuous, rich, earthy and resinous, with touches of wood spice, smoke, leather and balsamico.
