Glendronach – 1994-2015 21 Year Old Single Cask 1189 Distillery Exclusive (70cl, 54.1%)

A single cask Highland single malt from Glendronach, distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2015 at 21 years old. It comes from Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon 1189 and is bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.1%, without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. This cask was sold only at the distillery in 2015. It is described as a rich, sherry-laden whisky, with prunes and dark Muscovado sugar, laced with waves of espresso and orange bitters.
