GlenDronach 1994 Vintage is a 26 year old Highlands single malt, bottled at 44.9% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, and 1310 bottles were released. The colour is deep auburn.
The nose is rich, mature fruit cake with raisin, cherry and sultana, developing into liquorice, walnut fudge and ground coffee. The palate is full-bodied, with sultana and malt loaf balanced by waxed plum, leading to a lingering finish of black treacle, honey and walnut.
