Glendronach – 1995-2014 18 Year Old Single Cask 3025 Batch 10 (70cl, 51.1%)

This is an 18-year-old Highland single malt from Glendronach, distilled in 1995 and bottled by the distillery in 2014 as part of Batch 10 of its single cask series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 51.1%, without colouring or chill filtration. The whisky was drawn from cask 3025, a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon, and yielded 650 bottles. It is described as classic 1990s Glendronach: earthy, slightly drying sherry character with dark fruits, balsamico, leafy notes, old pipe tobacco and touches of rancio.
