This is a single cask Glendronach from the 1995 vintage, dated 19 May 1995 and bottled in October 2014 at 19 years old. It matured in a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon and was bottled at 54% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with 663 bottles filled.
The nose is led by sherry and sweetness, with strawberry, cherry and apricot, then vanilla, almonds, forest honey, orange and chocolate. The palate is rich and powerful, with intense sherry, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and a little cinnamon, and spice from the oak. The finish is very long, sweet and spicy, with dark chocolate, sherry and old oak.
