A single cask Glendronach from a sherry puncheon, filled by hand at the distillery. It was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2017 at 12 years old, at 57.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is of old, heavy sherry, syrupy dark fruit, overripe cherries, rum cake and baked apple, with a fine nuttiness. The palate is warming, dry and full, with deep fruit, strong oak and a hint of espresso. The finish is very long, with candied orange peel and dry oak.

Old, heavy, subtle sherry, syrupy dark ripe fruit, overripe dark cherries, plums in alcohol, rum cake, baked apple, fine nuttiness, roasted notes of burnt almonds
Warming and fiery, dry and full, deep fruit, very strong oak, a hint of espresso; with water, red fruit and a little earthiness
Extremely long and heavy, candied orange peel, very dry, oak and old wood
