This is a GlenDronach single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 2008 and bottled at 11 years old and 46% ABV. The casks were selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, and the whisky was matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. It has a golden colour.
The nose offers cherry, orange, heather honey, cocoa and cream, with spice, raisins and hazelnuts. On the palate, cherry and chocolate mingle with gingerbread and malty tones, along with a little charred oak. The finish is warm and lasting, with nutmeg and ginger.
