This is a 21 year old Highland single malt from Glendronach, known as Parliament. It was matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The notes describe a nose of stewed fruits, treacle, cocoa and polished oak. On the palate come dark chocolate, raisins, figs and sweet spice alongside the sherry sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit and oak lingering.
