GlenDronach – 27 Year Old Grandeur Batch 10 Bottled 2018 (70cl, 50.1%)

This is GlenDronach 27 Year Old Grandeur Batch 10, a Highland single malt bottled by the distillery in 2018 at a natural cask strength of 50.1%. It comes in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration. The whisky matured entirely in sherry casks, and the batch was limited to 2,293 bottles. The nose is ripe damson plum, black walnut, and bramble and apple jam, with old leather, truffle oil and cedar cigar box. On the palate, Morello cherries in dark chocolate lead to blackberry jus.
