Glendronach Allardice is an 18-year-old single malt named after James Allardice, founder of the Glendronach distillery. It was matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and bottled on 21 May 2018 at 46% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colouring. The nose is sweet, with caramel and stewed fruit. On the palate there is robust fruit, spice and sherry, with orange and chocolate in the background. The finish is long, powerful and layered.
