Glendronach Forgue 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 43%. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry butts from Andalucía, which bring dry spice and syrupy richness together. The Forgue takes its name from the valley where the distillery sits.
The nose is dark raisins, leather, orange peel and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with spiced fruitcake, toffee, fig and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with sherry-soaked fruit, nutmeg and cocoa.
