GlenDronach – Forgue 10 Years (1L, 43%)

GlenDronach Forgue is a 10 year old single malt named after the Forgue, the Highland valley where the distillery stands. It is bottled at 43% in a 100cl bottle. The whisky matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered, and its colour comes entirely from the Spanish oak casks. The nose shows blood orange, roasted almonds, cocoa and Christmas aromas. The palate brings mandarin, red and dark berries and caramel sweets. The finish is long and balanced, with nutmeg and a faint touch of tobacco.
