Ode To The Embers is a special release of Glendronach single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a sherry cask. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose, cinnamon-spiced toffee, apple and caramelised walnut brittle mingle with flamed orange, like a smouldering open fire. The palate offers raisin and honeyed walnut with bramble ganache and smoked chocolate fudge. The finish is lingering, with sultana, nutmeg and treacle and wisps of smoked clove.
