GlenDronach – Ode to the Valley (70cl, 46.2%)

GlenDronach Ode to the Valley is a Highland single malt that pays tribute to the distillery's surroundings and highlights its fruit-forward spirit. It is matured in a combination of sherry casks and ruby Port casks from Portugal's Douro Valley, bringing dark berries and orchard fruits alongside creamy malt and baked goods. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV. The nose is fragrant and fresh, with wild strawberries, raspberry compote and floral meadow notes over gentle oak and spice. The palate brings bramble jam, redcurrants, orchard fruit, vanilla cream, rosewater and heather honey. The finish is lingering, with soft tannins, dried cranberry and citrus zest.
